Emily Bett Rickards was born in July of 1991. She is an Canadian Actress best known for her role as Felicity in The CW's TV show Arrow. Rickards is an British Columbia native. In order to begin her career, Rickards began with musical theater and dancing with the intention of later introducing serious acting. Her high school graduation was earlier and enrolled in the Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials Course. In the open call that followed the search for an agent, she was able to find one for her. She was a student at The Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver. Initially signed as a single-episode guest on the show, her relationship with show's co-star Stephen Amell coupled with positive fan reaction as well as her sarcastic quips led to her first being signed as a recurring co-star in the remainder of the initial season.
