Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actress, writer, director and producer. Anna Silk was the child of both a British father as well as an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. When she was a girl, she appeared in a variety of commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto for her acting to grow. Later, the actress moved to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman, whom she was introduced to at an Los Angeles actors' workshop at the end of 2007, became her husband in 2009. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December the same year, and they then renewed their vows at a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton on April 11, 2011. Bo's relationship with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was featured in the list of CNN's all-time favorite TV Couples and named the Top TV Couple in 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's online popularity grew due to the popularity of the television series.
