Tracy Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to parents of Greek descent. Spiridakos made her name for her role as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) Matheson, a character from the NBC sci-fi television series Revolution. Spiridakos is a native of Winnipeg in Manitoba was born to Greek parents. Her family was from the Greek village in Skala (near Sparta) when Spiridakos was just four years old. At age nine, they returned to Canada. She is strongly connected to her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. She graduated from Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos relocated from Vancouver in 2007 to study acting, and within weeks she was offered her first TV role which was a tiny part in Supernatural. She worked in television and won her debut starring role with Majority Rules! in 2009. Her debut as a feature filmmaker in the year 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and she filmed the low-budget action thriller Kill For Me, with Donal Logue as well as Katie Cassidy.
